Xylem delivers strategic services for regenerative impact
Xylem fills a unique role in the impact investment ecosystem by connecting leaders in the natural capital, regenerative agriculture, and energy transition space with sources of capital, in order to advance the region’s ability to combat climate change, support the regeneration of its biosphere and strengthen the communities that depend on its health.
Xylem does not manage funds, though it has the ability to place capital on a project and company basis.

Investment Readiness
Xylem has almost 10 years in working with foundations, investors, company founders and project developers to facilitate the flow of impact capital. This includes evaluating business models, financials, and impact goals to identify strengths and opportunities. Xylem engagements often last several years whereby it works shoulder to shoulder with founding teams to refine their strategies to meet investor standards, focusing on measurable outcomes. Our work includes enhancing financial forecasts, governance, and impact metrics for greater investor appeal. We’ve also polished pitch materials and facilitated connections with impact investors.
Ecosystem Development
Xylem strongly believes in the power of community and has worked throughout the region to bring leaders in the natural capital and regenerative agriculture together through regular convenings to exchange ideas and facilitate collaboration. It actively works with universities to support accelerators and has hosted business plan competitions and “hackathons.” Wherever possible, it facilitates partnerships with domestic and international companies, and similar initiatives to unlock opportunities for the region.
Investment Advisory
Xylem has guided clients through capital raises, structuring deals that align financial returns with social and environmental impact. We’ve conducted thorough due diligence for investors, assessing risks and opportunities in impact-driven businesses. Our team has advised on valuation, deal terms, and strategic partnerships to optimize outcomes. We’ve also supported clients in navigating complex transactions while staying true to their mission.
Project Development
Xylem has collaborated with regenerative forest, agroforestry, energy transition, and mangrove restoration project developers to bring impactful initiatives to life. We’ve engaged governments, DFIs, and early-stage investors to secure support and funding for these projects. Our work has involved partnering with communities to ensure environmental benefits and social outcomes are achieved. We’ve shaped projects that balance ecological restoration with sustainable livelihoods for lasting impact.
Fund Development
Xylem has played a key role in developing and structuring local, regional, and global funds focused on natural capital, regenerative agriculture, and energy transition. We’ve addressed investment gaps by designing funds that attract capital to underserved areas. Our efforts have included shaping fund strategies, governance, and impact frameworks to align with market needs. We’ve enabled scalable solutions that drive both financial returns and environmental progress.
Market Development
Xylem provides a knowledge-sharing platform to build collaboration and community among future industry leaders in the sustainable food sector and convenes government, media, and academic experts to rebuild Asia’s food system transformation.
Pipeline Creation
Following the peer selection methodology pioneered in village banking, we work with partners in Asia’s Good Food community to identify new and exciting companies and innovators and prepare their investment readiness.
